A couple of weekends ago, me and my step-mom went down to the seawall to take pictures. :)

You know Spring is here when daisies are scattering the lawn.

When it's really sunny out, these little lizards come out and chill on our fence. They're so cute!

Blog meet Shadow and Kali. Shadow and Kali meet Blog. My dog Shadow lives with my dad in a different city so I don't get to see him that often. When I was at my dads house a couple weekends ago, I took a ton of pictures of him! :D

On Wednesday night my school had a Japan Benefit Concert. There were over 30 students who preformed with several different instruments. I was blown away by how much talent the kids in my school have and I got a chance to kind of (not really) master low lighting.

The people who live above us own 2 chickens. Gertrude (black) and Penelope (white). You might find this odd, but I think chickens are adorable! :)

We've been having beautiful weather lately so the day before yesterday, me, my laptop, and of course my camera, went to sit outside in the lovely sunshine.

My original plan was to get homework done, but of course I was distracted by the beauty all around me, so I ended up adventuring.

Weather like this makes me dream about summer time. 65 days. Can't wait!!!

~horses

Every single time I see a horse, I get incredibly happy. Horses are the calmest, happiest, cutest, most loyal and forgiving animals. Although I don't get a chance to do it often, horseback riding is my absolute favourite thing to do. I might even like it more than photography ;) I had a horse for a short while when I was 11 or 12. Her name was Sadie and she was the kindest, most gentle horse I have ever met. I. Love. Horses. ♥ I love the last picture ♥ Silly horse was trying to lick me :D

With all these beautiful flowers blooming, how can I put my camera down?

~telephone poles

Don't ask me why, because I really couldn't tell you what my obsession with these things are. I must have at least 50 pictures of plain old telephone poles. For some reason I really like the solid lines against the sky. Doesn't make sense to me either.

The warmer the weather gets the more beautiful the sky gets.

Taking pictures around the neighbourhood in pyjama’s and slippers. Wearing pyjama’s in mid-afternoon on a Wednesday makes it feel like summer.

This is the view from the top of my road. *Sigh* I love where I live.

~weird angles

Lying on the dirt and hugging a tree to get good pictures gets you interesting looks from strangers. But it's always worth it in the end.
