a lazy summer day

The window is open as wide as it can go, a fan sitting on the sill, light dancing throughout my room as well as the warm summer breeze. Music bursts through my headphones, with many familiar songs, and just a few new ones to keep things interesting.

I sit on my bed cross-legged, with a bottle of ice cold water in hand, wandering the internet, thinking about how there is no better way to spend a lazy summer day. 

Summer is a season for adventures and laughs and friends and being outside, but sometimes it's just as nice to not change out of your pyjamas, sit back, relax, and think about all things wonderful.

i want to travel

To Europe, Africa, India, Antarctica. I want to travel so badly that sometimes I just wish I could pack up a suitcase and go. I think about it 24/7, while watching videos on youtube from people that live in other countries, while driving in the car, while brushing my teeth, and especially while at school when my teachers ask me what I want to do once I graduate high school. My answer is always to travel. And while most people say I'm just naive and am going to run out of money and it isn't possible and that I need to go to college so I can get a "real" job and that eventually I'll get sick of living out of suitcases, I don't care. Spontaneity is beautiful people, and I want to travel as much as I can, as often as I can, as long as I can. That's my new goal in life. There's just so much of this world that I'd like to experience.
