December 31st, 2012. How on earth is it possible that this year has already come to an end?

Much like last year, 2012 was long, short, crazy, and interesting. As well as exciting, momentous, incredible, and the best year of my life thus far. In my post last year, I said, "I have a feeling that I'll grow next year just as much as I have this one.", and I most definitely did. I experienced pure happiness this year. More so than ever before. And I have never been more content in my life, so if that's what makes my 2012 so great, then so be it.

2012 was the year I turned sixteen, and the year I took a trip to both New York and California. It was the year I started 11th grade. The year I got a little more confident in my writing, and the year that held a summer so great that I can still taste it four months later. 2012 was also the first full year that I have entirely documented through blog posts, writing, and photos. And nothing makes me happier than knowing that all of the little memories from one of the best years of my life are stowed away for safe-keeping -- there when I need them.

As much as I loved 2012, I am so excited to see what 2013 has to offer. I'm starting a new project, as of tomorrow, to write in my journal and take a photo every single day this year, and I can't wait to see where it goes!

13 things to do in 2013:

01. Fill a journal.
02. Go somewhere new.
03. Meet a new friend.
04. Go on a road trip.
05. Go for a sunrise swim.
06. Read a minimum of 52 books.
07. Go to Tofino.
08. Meet a blog friend.
09. Knit a blanket.
10. Take a trip.
11. Go camping.
12. Wake up early to see a sunrise.
13. Watch a sunset from Sugarloaf.

2012 was incredible, but I dare 2013 to be even better. Happy New Year, friends.
