We had our first snowfall last week. Big white fluffy flakes fell from the sky and blanketed the frozen earth, transforming my backyard into something resembling a little Christmas village -- the mountain and rooftops and the frozen pond all covered in white. Unfortunately, snow where I live doesn't usually last long due to the amount of rain we get, but it sure was nice while it lasted.

I LOVE those falling shots! And I'm still waiting for my first "real" snow... technically we got it last week (it was more than a trace) but it wasn't enough to shovel, and the sidewalks weren't even covered.
