things learned...

...while travelling solo from one country to another;

-- Saying "thanks, you too" when people wish you a good trip isn't always necessary. Especially when it's someone who works at the info desk in the airport and isn't going anywhere but home.
-- There's no need to get your nerves all worked up while going through customs. Not all custom and immigration officers are mean. 
-- Airport WiFi is painfully slow.
-- Turbulence, even if you normally love it, can be a little scary.
