In English, we're reading Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. I admit, some of it is excruciatingly boring, BUT some of it is actually quite amusing. For instance some of the word choices, such as "methinks" or "What hempen home-spuns have we swaggering here?" HA. You try reading that with a straight face!

a celebration

It isn't very often that you can find my entire family in one house, but yesterday, we had a good reason to all be together. My grandma turns 70 years old on the 30th, and yesterday was her party with 60 of her closest friends and family! Last year around this time, my grandma was in the hospital having quintuple bypass open heart surgery. Needless to say, we were really thankful that she was here to celebrate her big day!

There wasn't very much structure to the party and everyone pretty much hung out with whoever they wanted, wherever they wanted, except when it was time for cake and presents.

All in all, it was a wonderful, memorable day, and what fun day doesn't end with a beautiful sunset?

As of right now, I am very pleased that I only have 5 followers. I apologize to those 5 wonderful people for not posting for an entire week! I try to post every couple of days, but this week, I just wasn't feeling "it". On with the favourites:

My two absolute favourite fruits are watermelon and mango. In the summer I practically live off of these juicy, delicious fruit.

~spring 

I am far too lazy to think of creative names for all of the pictures above, so instead they all fall under the label of, you guessed it, SPRING!

I'm sure by now you guys must be sick of all my spring talk. I promise that the next post will be something other than flowers blooming and blue skies! But for now,
