10 October 2011

at last, a post!

I haven't written a "proper" post in over 3 weeks -partly because I'm lazy, but mostly because of my lack of creativity- and I don't know about you guys, bu I think it's about time I gave this whole blogging thing another shot, so here I am.

We've got a lot of back-tracking to do, and I'm a little tired, so please try your best to stay with me! ;)

Friday, September 30th

Was it really that long ago?

I mentioned here that me and a friend were going downtown after school so I could get some cool shots of the city, so downtown we went!

She was a good sport and listened to me when I instructed her to stand against "the pretty brick wall"! ;)

We went into a couple shops every so often to warm up a little, and now that I think about it, the majority of them were bookstores!

We also ventured into the library.

Guess what section I wandered off to?

And guess which books I found? ;)

Not too long after our library adventure, we got picked up and dropped off at my grandma's house where we made some delicious homemade pizza!

Saturday, October 1st

Saturday morning we made some delicious apple-cinnamon pancakes (recipe?) then went to the mall to buy some shoes for the wedding I was attending that afternoon. We dropped Maggie off at her house, then went home to start getting ready.

The wedding was awesome- my mom used to babysit the bride, and when she got a little older, the bride used to babysit me! :)

Sunday, October 2nd - Sunday, October 9th

School, homework, school, homework, school, homework, oh yeah and some more school and homework.

Which leads us to today. Yes, I'm still in a rut, and yes, I did go against several peoples advice and am taking a break from my 365, which means I haven't picked up my camera since Friday, which also means that I have no new pictures to share! We'll see how long this lasts, but I'm betting it won't be too long! :)

What have you guys been up to?

-Hope

  3. well i wouldn't be too hard on yourself.
    inspiration comes like a bird,
    soaring out of nowhere. however,
it goes just as quickly away.
that's why to keep my creative
    juices flowing, i read books.
i try to draw something everyday as well,
    because drawing frees the mind.

well, i enjoyed this post. so even when you think you're uninspired keep posting. :)
