one year blogging anniversary

It has been an entire year since I started this little blog of mine. An entire year of posts, followers, picture sharing, lack of inspiration streaks, comments, and communicating. An entire year of being able to express myself in a new way, and meeting people with the same interests as me. An entire year since I wrote this post.

One year, 215 posts, 86 followers, and 849 comments later, here I am.

I've learned to love blogging in this past year. I've explained to friends and family what it is that I do and I've accepted the strange looks and weird questions they have asked. I've gotten over my fear of other people reading what I have to say, and I'm hoping that this whole blogging thing lasts, because in 10 years, when I'm married with children, I know how much I'll enjoy reading what I had to say as a teen, and in 20, 30, 40 years, I know I'll enjoy reading what I had to say as a young adult. I want my life documented, and this is the way I'm going to do it.

I'm not the kind of person who sticks with a hobby for very long, but what I've learned in this past year or so is that the hobbies you choose yourself always seem to stick around. I found photography and blogging on my own, and I honestly think that's why I stick around. Not because someone else influenced me to do it, but because I wanted to.

With all that aside, how 'bout a trip down header memory lane?

  2. Happy birthday, Live Your Life! :) I absolutely love your blog, Hope. And I want to thank you so much for all your sweet comments on the Project 147 posts today <3 Knowing how many people are supporting us and are taking a stand seriously makes me so happy. Orphans and adoption are rarely topics that come up in everyday life, but they should be so people can realize how wrong it is that there are so many orphans, and this website will be great to help. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all your comments... every twitter/blog follow, every comment, every email, they all mean the world. I just know the Lord has great plans for this website.
    xoxo.
